I have been very disappointed about the bad reviews I have been receiving. Then one day I looked at the reviews from UK and Australia, I was delighted to find some really encouraging reviews. I would love to thank them and to share a few with you loyal users:
Here is one 4-star from RA-Pic of UK, titled "Very happy - ideal for my needs" "I needed a teleprompter app for a last-minute filming job - I don't usually use/need this setup, but thought I could try out my iPad 1 which is still on iOS 5.1.1, along with a borrowed teleprompter kit. I had limited choices in the app store as usual and expected to find either no compatible apps or very basic ones with few options. Fortunately I found this app, which not only works on my old iPad but has lots of different choices for font, colour, speed, mirror, timer, counter etc. It was reasonably intuitive to find/set everything and I tried both copying/pasting my text from an email, as well as typing it in directly. I haven't tried uploading any files. For what I needed this worked very well and I'd definitely use it in the future." Here is another 4-star from M1ke_Adams of Australia, titled "Works well - transparent pricing model" "What I like about this app is that it works well and the business model is honest and transparent. So many so called "free" apps pop up extra charges for absolutely basic features such as cut and paste - which makes me mad." Recently I received emails asking me to update the app just to keep it in store. First of all, I believe I will update it in the next 2 months with no new features because I love the simplicity of it, secondly, if my U.S. users love it so much, would you please give me a good review? Thank you. P.S. my first blog was wishing the app store to allow developer's response. Yay, just recently they granted my wishes. I will respond to all your reviews diligently. Enjoy the summer.

Is the Yosemite picture to promote the new Mac OS? The answer is NO. It is just a coincidence. I took this picture from the "bridge" on June 1st, 2015. Unfortunately no monitors can display the majestic view of Yosemite. You must see it in person to truly appreciate its greatness. Here I will tell you the best kept secret of visiting Yosemite; is to start your trip from the east, via Tioga pass. If you travel with small children, research thoroughly to assure a safe and pleasant trip.
Now back to Quick Teleprompter. I love speaking to people, whether to a small audience, or in front of 2,000 people in an auditorium. It can be nerve wrecking and exciting at the same time. When the first generation of iPad was introduced in 2010, I immediately thought of its potential to replace the much more expensive, and heavy teleprompter equipment. A year and a half later, the app was born, approved and was instantly placed on the top of the iTunes' Noteworthy list. You may wonder, "why are some of the crazy bad reviews?" I have no answers for you other than speculating "competitors bad mouthing" or "unexpected user's expectation." Some reviews are quite vicious or angry with spelling like "Waist of Money" and "Teleromper". One day, Apple iTunes store will allow developers to respond directly to these complaints. Before that happens, we hope our loyal users to continue enjoying this app. So, let's make it as simple as possible on what is the Quick Teleprompter? It is NOT the $10,000 traditional teleprompter machine, it is an iPad app that allows you to copy your speech into the app, tap [play] and speak. For those of you who want more value, tap at the [?] button to learn its advanced features. You can always email us. This app is NOT being marketed at all. It is selling by words of mouth. Like visiting Yosemite, writing app and helping people to be more productive is our passion. ;) |
AuthorHi, I am Linus, the app developer. Outdoors is my first love, software is my second. Apps are great and I have been writing apps for 6 years. My goal, surprisingly to many, is to encourage users to spend less time on "electronics" and to spend more time outdoors with friends and family ArchivesCategories |
